Who We Are
The School Community Values Miss Audrey Testimonials

Our School. In home.
2020 was an ambitious year to establish a school.
Which just goes to show you the hopeful nature of Miss Audrey’s Montessori.
Our school was born out of a passion for growing young hearts, minds, and bodies.
With special interest in Montessori methods and early childhood development, we provide Little Learners foundational understanding to take care of themselves, their relationships, and the world in a whole way.
Through personalized attention and guidance, our community goal is for each child to love learning so they continue to grow into the fullest person they are and are becoming.
Our Community Values
“Toddlers are my people.”
— Miss Audrey
Hi!
I am Miss Audrey,
Founder of Miss Audrey’s Montessori.
START
Montessori & Toddlers: my two favorite things!
After subbing at Terese’s Montessori for Toddlers (Novato) in high school, and working with Sylvie at Sunnyside Montessori (San Rafael) in college, I finally opened my own Montessori-based program for toddlers in 2020 in Larkspur. I am grateful to have two astounding mentors, a B.A. in Integrated Educational Studies & French from Chapman University, at-home education from North American Progressive Montessori Teacher Training, and years of experience loving and caring for children, which have all led me to bring my life dream to fruition: operating a nurturing, stimulating, small in-home Montessori for toddlers.
A bit about me: I love to work thoughtfully and diligently (building this program has been a wonderful, fulfilling challenge) but I also make sure to take time to enjoy cooking and baking (j’adore les patisseries francaises!), visiting my dearest friends around the world, and dabbling as a cinephile. I love reading philosophical novels, being in the sun, and creating new classroom work for the toddlers on weekends.
Most importantly, I am here to listen, learn, and look at what your toddler brings out every day to make sure their personal path is lush with abundant opportunity for growth. Montessori has proven to be an efficient, wholesome, and enriching method for me to provide my toddlers with the intentional environment and educational approach needed to maximize their curiosity, creativity, learning, and focus while navigating through the most crucial developmental period of their lives. (Did you know 85% of the brain develops age 0-3?!)
END
In the same tenacious spirit of our school is, living life with ambition and curiosity is what I do best. Here is a brief history in light of my love of learning:
From ages 2-4, a toddler in in Novato Montessori
Ages 15-17, a teacher’s assistant in a Montessori classroom
Age 22, a college graduate majoring in education, minoring
Teaching English in Martinique for a year and half
2020 - Montessori training
Today, I am thrilled to share this self-motivated way of life with your child. With careful observation and personalized attention, my highest priority is providing a space for your child to develop their skills and personality.
