Hi, I am Miss Audrey!

Montessori and toddlers are my two favorite things!

Additionally, a double major Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Educational Studies & French from Chapman University, at-home self-education from North American Progressive Montessori Teacher Training, and years of experience loving and caring for children have all led me to bring my vision to reality: operating a nurturing, stimulating, small in-home Montessori school for toddlers.

In the classroom, my role and my passion is to guide toddlers through the most crucial developmental period of their lives. Did you know 85% of the brain develops age 0-3?! I am here to listen, learn, and look at what your toddler takes an interest in to ensure their personal path is lush with opportunities for growth. Montessori has proven to be a wholesome and enriching pillar from which my program is inspired. I feel it provides toddlers with the intentional environment and educational approach (“follow the child”) required to maximize their opportunity for fostering independence, curiosity, focus, and learning social skills and etiquette.

My rich experience with Montessori classrooms begins when I was as a toddler in Ms. Terese’s Montessori for Toddlers in Novato, CA. In this same classroom, as a high school student, I learned how to substitute teach. In college, I worked with Ms. Sylvie at Sunnyside Montessori in San Rafael, CA. I am grateful to have formed and maintained friendships and receive guidance from these two astounding women, who have shown me the power and longevity of the Montessori community.

Outside the classroom, I am a new mom to my sweet boy who was born this past summer. My partner, son, and I enjoy family time on weekends at the farmer’s market, taking walks, and exploring new parks around Marin. In my free time I love baking (j’adore les patisseries francaises!), visiting dear friends around the world, and spending time with my family who live locally.

“Toddlers are my people.”
